For the 1932 Laurel & Hardy film see County Hospital (1932 film)County Hospital (often referred to locally as Panteg Hospital) is the only hospital in Torfaen Wales. It is located in Griffithstown a suburb of Pontypool. Since 2009 it has been managed by Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board.The oldest parts of the hospital were built in 1837 as a workhouse as part of the Pontypool Poor Law Union.
