The Conservative Party of New Zealand a political party in New Zealand dates from August 2011. It advocates fiscal conservatism social conservatism the repeal of the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme and of the child discipline law and the use of binding referenda. Colin Craig who polled third (with about 8.7% of the vote) in the 2010 Auckland mayoral electionleads the party.
