The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore was established in 1984 and is located in Salisbury Maryland. Its mission is to encourage philanthropy and strengthen our communities and its vision is to increase annual grant making to $10 million by 2024. It serves the three lower counties of the Eastern Shore of Maryland: Somerset Wicomico and Worcester.Annually CFES awards more than $5.4 million in grants and scholarships.
