Committee for the Defence of National Interests (abbreivated CDNI) was a right-wing political party in Laos. The party was founded on June 10 1958 by a group of powerful families and French educated elites. The party proposed the formation of an anti-communist national front. In April 1960 the party won in a landslide victory with the Laotian People’s Rally winning all 59 seats in the National Assembly.
