Colwyn Bay Rugby Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Rygbi Bae Colwyn) is a rugby union team from the town of Colwyn Bay North Wales. Colwyn Bay RFC is a member of the Welsh Rugby Union and is a feeder club for the Llanelli Scarlets.The club has a long history with rugby played before 1900 though the first officially recorded match was in 1923 against a Chester XV. The club’s early history is interwound with that of Rydal School who laid the foundations and supplied early players of the club.
