Collinsville Power Station is located south of Townsville Queensland Australia. It has five coal powered steam turbines with a combined generation capacity of 190 MW of electricity.The coal for Collinsville comes from local open-cut mines.Collinsville was commissioned in 1968 with four 30 MW steam turbines.
