Coffee is a brownish color that is a representation of the color of an unroasted coffee bean. Different types of coffee beans have different colors when unroasted–the color coffee represents an average. The first recorded use of coffee as a color name in English was in 1695.The source of the color displayed at right is the ISCC-NBS Color List (see Page C coffee color sample #58).
