Cockney Wanker is a character created by Graham Dury and Simon Thorpe in Viz based on a stereotype male Cockney. Wanker is a thief conman and charlatan who speaks in rhyming slang and spends his days drinking selling stolen or unworkable goods to passers-by in East-end market stalls. He wears cheap gold jewellery or Argos bling and Laadan gangster dark glasses and is often seen smoking a cigar. He is a wife-beater and lifelong racist who complains about Sooties yet respects Frank Bruno.
