City 7 is a new channel which celebrates the best in Eastern European culture in Ireland. The channel which launches in the first quarter of 2009 on UPC Ireland is operated and owned by City Channel Ltd which already owns the brands City Channel and Channel South in the Republic of Ireland. The company is headed by David Harvey who also founded the original station and is based in Dublin.
