Cirencester Town Council is a parish council formed in 1974 representing five wards in Cirencester. The council elects a Mayor who is acts leader of the Council for 2 years. The current Mayor of Cirencester is Cllr Joe Harris.Cirencester comprises five wards – Beeches Ward Chesterton Ward Park Ward Stratton Ward and Watermoor Ward. Each ward elects 3 Councillors each.
