Ciarán Carey (born 16 January 1970) is an Irish hurling selector and player. He is currently a selector with the Limerick senior hurling team.An effective centre-back Carey is often regarded as one of the greatest players never to have won an All-Ireland medal. Nonetheless he enjoyed a successful playing career at club level with Patrickswell and at inter-county level with Limerick.
