Christy O’Brien (born 1933 in Borris-in-Ossory County Laois) is a retired Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Borris-in-Ossory and with the Laois senior inter-county team from 1952 until 1969. O’Brien is regarded as one of the greatest players never to have won an All-Ireland medal.
