Christopher Mark Ewing is a fictional character from the American prime time drama series Dallas and the continuation series. The character was first written into the series in the episode called Starting Over which first aired on December 11 1981. The role was most notably portrayed by Joshua Harris from 1985 until the conclusion of the original series in 1991. In the continuation the series the role is portrayed by Jesse Metcalfe.
