The Christian Democratic People’s Party (Romanian: Partidul Popular Creştin Democrat CDPP; Христианско-демократическая народная партия) is a Christian democratic political party in Moldova. In the legislative elections held on March 6 2005 the party won 9.1% of the popular vote and 11 out of 101 seats. The party is led by Iurie Roşca. Until 2005 the CDPP and the National Liberal Party used to be the only major political parties in Moldova that supported the unification with Romania.
