Christopher Froome (born 20 May 1985) is a Kenyan-born British professional road racing cyclist and winner of the 2013 Tour de France riding for UCI ProTeam Team Sky. Brought up in Kenya and South Africa he has ridden since 2008 under a British licence on the basis of his passport and his father and grandparents’ country of birth.
