Children’s National Medical Center (formerly referred to as DC Children’s Hospital) is the only exclusive provider of pediatric care in the Washington D.C. area and the only freestanding children’s hospital between Philadelphia Pittsburgh Norfolk and Atlanta. Located just north of the McMillan Reservoir and Howard University it shares grounds with Washington Hospital Center National Rehabilitation Center and the DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
