Cheilanthes intertexta is a species of lip fern known by the common name coastal lip fern. It is native to California and adjacent parts of southern Oregon and western Nevada where it grows in rocky habitat. This fern is thought to be a fertile hybrid of Cheilanthes gracillima and Cheilanthes covillei.It produces clusters of dark green leaves up to about 25 centimeters long.
