Checkmate Transport is a bus operator in Mossley Greater Manchester. They currently own four buses mainly Optare Solos with a Plaxton Beaver used for a school route and as a spare for public services and along with the school service they operate a mix of tendered services and one commercial service. Checkmate Transport has a history in Tameside running numerous routes before selling the company off.
