Dr. Charles V. Paterno (1876–1946) was an American real estate developer.Born in Castelmezzano Italy to Giovanni Paterno (a real estate businessman) and Carolina Trivigno he moved to the United States for financial problems because an earthquake destroyed a construction project that his father was involved with. He graduated from Cornell Medical School in 1899 with the intention of becoming a doctor of medicine but he never practiced the profession.
