Cerro del León is a stratovolcano located in El Loa Province Antofagasta Region Chile. Chao dacitic lava dome separates it from Cerro Paniri a stratovolcano and to its east lies Chillahuita another dacitic lava dome. Cerro Chao has a volume of about 26 cubic kilometres (6.2 cu mi) making it the Earth’s largest lava dome of its kind.
