Rádio CBN is a Brazilian news radio network jointly owned by Sistema Globo de Rádio (Organizações Globo’s radio division). CBN means Central Brasileira de Notícias (Brazilian News Center). It was created on October 1 1991 as an all-news project (i.e. broadcasting news 24 hours a day). Nowadays Rádio CBN has four owned-and-operated stations in the cities of São Paulo Rio de Janeiro Belo Horizonte and Brasília.
