Cedar Crest Park formerly Cedar Crest Country Club is a public golf course in Dallas Texas. South of downtown the course was designed by A. W. Tillinghast and was the site of the tenth PGA Championship in 1927 won by Walter Hagen his fourth consecutive PGA title and fifth overall the ninth of his eleven major championships. It also hosted the Dallas Open in 1926 won by Macdonald Smith.Established in 1916 and opened in 1919 the course is where a young Harry Cooper honed his skills.
