Cavallucci is a rich Christmas pastry made with anise almonds candied fruits coriander and flour. It has an Italian origin which translates approximately to Little Horses. The chewy biscuits traditionally uses Tuscan millefiori honey as an essential element for the paste.Popularised in Siena the cookies sold today are a gentrified version of a pastry which is traceable to the 16th century.
