Restaurant Cattelin is one of Stockholm’s classic restaurants specializing in French cuisine It lies on Storkyrkobrinken 9 on Gamla stan in Stockholm’s medieval quarter to the west of Stockholm Palace and was opened in 1922 by Franco-Belgian chef Jules Claude Cattelin although other sources indicate 1897. Frommer’s describes it as an old favourite of frugal Stockholmers. It is reportedly popular with artists writers and civil servants.
