Catherine’s Church (Ukrainian: Катерининська церква) – is a functioning church in Chernihiv Ukraine.The church-memorial built to commemorate the victory of the Cossack army under the command of Chernihiv Colonel Yakiv Lyzohub over the Turks at Azov. The church is cruciform in plan nonapartite five-domed. The faceted arms of the cross are covered by tent roofs with steps and terminate in domes. The central dome is much higher than others hence is the pyramidal composition of the volumes.
