Carmelo Cassati (born April 6 1924) is an Italian Prelate of Roman Catholic Church. Cassati was born in Tricase ordained a priest on December 17 1949 from the religious order of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. Cassati was appointed auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Pinheiro as well as titular bishop of Nova Germania on April 27 1970 and ordained June 28 1970. Cassati was appointed bishop of Pinheiro diocese on June 17 1975.
