Carlos Quintana (born November 6 1976) is a retired Puerto Rican professional boxer. As an amateur Quintana represented Puerto Rico. He debuted as a professional in 1997. On February 24 2006 he participated in his first professional championship fight defeating Raul Bejerano for the World Boxing Organization’s Latino welterweight championship. His first defense took place on June 24 2006 when he defeated Joel Julio by unanimous decision in a welterweight title eliminator.
