Not to be confused with another Swedish horse rider and Olympic gold medalist Gustaf Lewenhaupt.Carl Gustaf Moritz Thure Lewenhaupt (January 7 1884 – May 11 1935) was a Swedish horse rider who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics and in the 1924 Summer Olympics.In the 1920 Summer Olympics he won a bronze medal in the Individual jumping event.He was part of the Swedish team which was able to win the silver medal in the equestrian team three-day event event in the 1924 Summer Olympics however he was unable to finish in the individual three-day event.[citation needed]
