Captain Comet (real name Adam Blake) is a fictional DC Comics superhero created by DC Comics Editor Julius Schwartz writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino.Once a minor character in the DC Comics canon he occupies an almost unique position in DC Comics history as a superhero who was created between the two great superhero comics periods–the Golden Age and the Silver Age.
