The Campeonato de Fútbol Femenino is the main league competition for women’s football (soccer) in Argentina. The Argentine Football Association (AFA) created the competition in 1991. The winner of the playoff between the Apertura and of the Clausura champions compete in the following years Copa Libertadores.
