Cameroonian American are Americans of Cameroonian descent. According to the census of 2000 in the United States there 8099 American of Cameroonian origin. However as happened with others African groups many people from day-present Cameroon arrived to United States as slaves during the colonial period of this country by which the number of Afro-Americans with some Cameroonian ancestors must be more higher.
