The Cambodian People’s Party (Khmer: គណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា Kanakpak Pracheachon Kâmpuchéa) is the current ruling party of Cambodia. This party was formerly known as the Kampuchean People’s Revolutionary Party (Khmer: គណបក្សប្រជាជនបដិវត្តន៍កម្ពុជា; KPRP). It was the sole legal party in the country at the time of the People’s Republic of Kampuchea and the first two years of the State of Cambodia.
