Cambarellus puer sometimes known as the swamp dwarf crayfish is a species of crayfish native to Oklahoma Texas Louisiana Illinois Arkansas Mississippi Tennessee and Kentucky. This species is often found in swamps and also occurs in ditches bayous ponds and slow-moving streams. It is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
