The only species currently accepted is Calycocarpum lyonii endemic to the southeastern United States.Calycocarpum lyonii has been reported from Texas Louisiana Oklahoma Arkansas southeastern Kansas Missouri southern Illinois southern Indiana Kentucky Tennessee Mississippi Alabama Georgia northwestern Florida ans southern South Carolina.
