Cagliari light rail commercially known as Metrocagliari is a light rail line that serves the town of Cagliari and part of its metropolitan area in Sardinia Italy.It was inaugurated in 2008 after the renovation and the modernization of the previous narrow gauge railway system that operated in the urban area of Cagliari.It currently has eight stops and the line to the Policlinico-University Campus stop is under construction. It is expected to be inaugurated in 2014.
