Burkinabin C is a divanilloylquinic acid found in the root bark of Fagara zanthoxyloides (Zanthoxylum zanthoxyloides).It has a type of structure similar to a hydrolysable tannin or to the chlorogenic acid isomers 34-dicaffeoylquinic acid and 35-dicaffeoylquinic acid with a carbohydrate forming the core of the molecule and phenolics attached to it.
