Shayk al-Islam Burhan al-Din al-Farghani al-Marghinani (title given by scholars at time) (Arabic: برهان الدين) was an Islamic scholar of the Hanafi school. He was born at Marghinan in the vicinity of Farghana in 530/1135 (in Present Day Uzbekistan) He died in 593/1197.
