Bunwurrung (also anglicised as Bunurong Bun wurrung Boonwurrung among other spellings) is the Indigenous Australian language spoken by the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation of Central Victoria at the time of European settlement.It was spoken by six clans along the coast from the Werribee River across the Mornington Peninsula Western Port Bay to Wilsons Promontory.Bunwurrung is closely related to Woiwurrung language with which it shares over 90% of its vocabulary.
