Buddleja ‘ILVOargus2′ (sold as Argus Velvet in the UK and InSpired Violet in the USA) is a hybrid cultivar raised in Belgium by ILVO the Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research [1] from a crossing of Nanho Purple (female parent) with B. lindleyana. Promoted by the horticultural organization Argus the cultivar was released to commerce in 2011. [2] [3]
