The Bucharest Metro (Romanian: Metroul București) is an underground urban railway network that serves the capital of Romania Bucharest. The network is run by Metrorex. It is one of the most accessed systems of the Bucharest public transport network with a ridership of 172.6 million passengers in 2012 (averaging out at 473000 passengers per day). In total the network is 69.25 kilometres (43.03 mi) long and has 51 stations.
