Bruce F. Caputo (born August 7 1943) was a member of the United States House of Representatives from New York. Born in New York City he graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1961 Harvard University in 1965 Harvard Business School in 1967 and Georgetown Law School in 1971. He was elected to the New York State Assembly in 1972 representing a district in lower Westchester County. He was re-elected in 1974 a tough year for Republicans in New York State and around the county.
