The British Democratic Party (also known as British Democrats or the Brit Dems) is a British political party founded in 2013. The party was launched on 9 February 2013 in a village hall in Leicestershire by a 10 member steering committee including Andrew Brons MEP a former member of the British National Party (BNP) who had been a leading member of the National Front (NF) and a number of others most of whom have a history of membership in fascist and neo-Nazi groups.
