Brian Whelehan (born August 1971) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a left wing-forward for the Offaly senior team. He is now a hurling manager soon to be ratified as manager of the Offaly senior team.Born in Banagher County Offaly Whelehan first excelled at hurling whilst at school in St. Brendan’s Community School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he first linked up with the Offaly minor team before later lining out with the under-21 side.
