Brian Murphy (born 21 July 1982) is an Irish hurler who played as a full-back for the Cork senior team.Born in Rathcormac County Cork Murphy first excelled at hurling whilst at school in St. Colman’s College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later lining out with the under-21 and intermediate sides. He made his senior debut in the 2003 National Hurling League.
