The Brampton Beast is a Canadian professional ice hockey team in the Central Hockey League who began play in the 2013–14 season as the CHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning and the American Hockey League’s Syracuse Crunch. Based in Brampton Ontario the Beast plays its home games at the Powerade Centre.The Beast are the 1st Canadian-based team in the Central Hockey League.
