Brahma is a Brazilian beer originally made by the Companhia Cervejaria Brahma which was founded in 1888. The brewery is currently the fifth largest in the world. The brands are now owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev formed by an acquisition of Anheuser-Busch by InBev (Companhia de Bebidas das Américas AmBev and Interbrew).Brahma produced their national Malzbier in 1914. After that the company began expanding internationally.
