Boyfriend (ボーイフレンド Bōifurendo) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fuyumi Soryo. Boyfriend manga received the 1988 Shogakukan Manga Award for shōjo manga. In 2008 the manga was posted on the Yahoo! Comic Japan website for free browsing to celebrate Shogakukan’s Shōjo Comic’s 40th anniversary.
