The Borders party is a political party involved in Local Government in Scotland.The Party was founded in 2006 and is based in the Scottish Borders and is concerned with improving the quality of life and welfare of those living and working in the area. Candidates from the party are fielded only in Council elections and do not stand in National or European elections. The Borders party is non-affiliated to any of the other national parties and has members from across the political spectrum.
