Bonnie McElveen-Hunter is an American businesswoman who is the first female Chair of the Board of Governors of the American Red Cross. She is currently serving her second three-year term the first of which began in June 2004 when she was appointed to the post by U.S. President George W. Bush. She is the founder and CEO of Pace Communications a publishing company and was the U.S. Ambassador to Finland from 2001 – 2003.
