Bolin Chen (traditional Chinese: 陳柏霖; simplified Chinese: 陈柏霖; pinyin: Chén Bólín; Cantonese Yale: Chan Pak Lam) was born 27 August 1983. He is a Taiwanese-born actor. Chen was awarded Best Leading Actor in a Television Series for In Time with You at the 47th Golden Bell Awards in 2012 Taiwan’s equivalent to the Emmy Awards.He began his career as a model in his late teenage years. At the age of 19 he had his first head role in the Taiwanese movie Blue Gate Crossing (2002).
